Tottenham Park Cemetery is a small private burial ground dating from 1912, which was originally established as a paupers' cemetery. and adjacent to the older Edmonton Federation Cemetery. A central drive lined with lime trees leads to the original brick Gothic chapel, designated a conservation area. It remains privately owned and is now particularly used for Muslim burials.
The cemetery’s Gothic chapel is similar in style to the chapels of Surbiton Cemetery and Streatham Cemetery and South London Crematorium (q.v.), which were designed by architect John Bannen.
Since 2019 the cemetery (excluding the Chapel) has been under the new Ownership of Mr. Peter Demetriou. Since the beginning of this year the Chapel has also come under his control and he looks forward to a partnership with the community to ensure that the whole of the Cemetery can achieve the respect and reverence it deserves.
